Tahlequah Hospital Foundation
Tahlequah Hospital Foundation Inc. was formed and organized on August 09, 2001 exclusively for promotion of charity care in Tahlequah and the surrounding area as well as enhance healthcare related higher education opportunities. The Tahlequah Hospital Foundation also has allowed for the expansion of land and facilities for Northeastern Health System. The Foundation operates under the federal income tax regulation Sections 115 and 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The Foundation under the boards leadership has raised over $$$ to achieve their goals of serving the healthcare needs of Northeast Oklahomans now and for future generations.
Tahlequah Hospital Authority, an Oklahoma public trust, is the initial sole member of the Tahlequah Hospital Foundation. Provision for additional members and transfer of memberships shall be prescribed and managed under the bylaws of the corporation.
The management and oversight of the Foundation’s business and affairs shall be achieved through the Board of Directors all who serve in their capacities without compensation.
Tahlequah Hospital Foundation owns the Infusion center currently rented out by The Warren Clinic, the Sallisaw Dialysis Center, Burchette property which is 14 acres directly east of the hospital, which also adjoining’s the new EMS building and property to the east. The foundation owns the TMG physician office building and property located in Fort Gibson as well as the x-ray\lab equipment.
