POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Communications Dispatcher performs a full range of radio and telephone operational duties. Dispatchers are required to process and prioritize incoming calls for police, fire, and EMS. Utilizing a CAD system the dispatcher is responsible for assigning appropriate assets to a call and ensuring those assets complete the response. Dispatchers are the key link in the communication chain between the public and emergency service responsible for ensuring the safe completion of every respond.

Minimum Education High School or equivalent
Minimum Experience Completion of EMD within 6 months
Preferred Course(s)/Training Microsoft Word and Excel
